The measurement layer for scarce resources
Your grid has more capacity than you think. Your regulator needs proof you're using it right.
NRGKit gives you both. We monitor your energy use, verify it against your utility bills, and file the compliance reports that EU and German law require. Measured, signed, submitted.
Sensors measure. We verify. Every filing human-signed. →For operators
100 kW to 2 MW, without a dedicated energy team.
NRGKit takes the whole stack off your plate. Sensors go in, data comes back, filings go out. You see everything in one dashboard and sign off when you need to. We handle the rest.
Check your readiness →For consultancies & M&E contractors
Data you can put your name to.
Sensor readings cross-checked against utility bills, a clean audit trail, and exports structured for BAFA and EED submissions. The standard isn't what you can defend after the fact: it's what you can verify before you file.
Partner with us →The data path
From clamp to filing, every figure carries its lineage.
You share your billing data. We assess what metering you're missing and get sensors to site in about a day. Your dashboard shows live PUE, WUE, and grid headroom. When a deadline approaches, we prepare the filing, verify the numbers, and submit with a human signature.

- 01
Listed
Your facility already appears in NRGRanker, built from public sources and labelled estimates. Claiming it is free.
- 02
Filed
The NRGKit filing engine computes the 24 EED data points from bills and BMS exports, flags the gaps, and generates the filing pack.
- 03
Verified
Clamp-on sensors convert estimates into measured, NRGKit-Verified figures. Assessment and installation take about a day, no downtime.

One measurement layer, two problems
Compliance is the law. Capacity is the ceiling.
Compliance closes on a deadline; capacity opens doors every day. Same sensors, same bills, same dataset.
Capacity
The transformer you need is three years away. Your headroom isn't.
The only new capacity you can get this year is the waste you recover from the connection you already have. NRGKit shows you where your power envelope actually goes, and how much IT load still fits inside it.
Compliance
WUE is now mandatory. Almost nobody measures it.
Water usage effectiveness is a required disclosure the industry still handles with manual meter readings. NRGKit meters it properly: the sharpest line on your filing and your ranking.
Trust
Never a metric without lineage
Every figure traceable to a bill, an export, or a sensor. Deterministic, auditable computation: a regulator can ask us to show our working.
Trust
No autonomous filing
Nothing reaches filed without a human signature. Refused by design, not by policy.
Hardware
Instrumented in about a day
Clamp-on CTs and a LoRaWAN gateway. No downtime, no rip-and-replace: built for facilities the DCIM vendors ignore. Reserve a kit →
Filed · the filing engine
31 March. 15 May. Every year, with fines attached.
EU data centres above 500 kW (300 kW in Germany, 100 kW in France) must file 24 energy and water data points annually. Germany's PUE cap lands July 2027, and you cannot estimate your way past a measured cap. NRGKit computes the numbers from your bills and meters, and prepares the filing pack for the EU platform and BAFA's RZReg.
| Regime | Deadline | Applies to |
|---|---|---|
| EU EED | 15 May | ≥500 kW IT load (DE 300 kW, FR 100 kW) |
| Germany EnEfG | 31 Mar | ≥300 kW; PUE ≤1.5 from July 2027 |
| EU AI Act | Aug 2027 | GPAI model energy documentation |
NRGRanker
The ranking is public. Your numbers should be right.
NRGRanker ranks named facilities by watt-hours and millilitres of water per 1,000 inference tokens, from operator disclosures and labelled estimates calibrated against EU published aggregates. Preview your listing, correct it, claim it.
Second filing cycle · CY2026 data
The next filing closes 15 May 2027.
The EED filing requires 24 data points, and they accumulate over time: they cannot be collected retroactively. Starting now means you arrive at the deadline with everything you need.
